19c. Chamber Pot Commode, brown over red painted dovetailed case with overhanging lift-top lid, atop chip carved recessed cover, set on bun feet. Coastal Maine origin. Dimensions 18 inches long, 18 inches wide, 17 1/2 inches high. Lift-top lid overhangs case by 1/2 inch.
