Primitive Handmade Frog Holder

Early 20c. primitive handmade frog holder / carry cage (Have never seen one before!). Found in mid-coast Maine - from the home of a retired Maine State Game Warden. Pine framed cage with dowel carry handle and attached screening secured by red painted and nailed leather straps. Cage is accessed from the top through a bolted round sliding cover. Measures 13 1/2 inches long, 6 inches wide, 12 inches high.
